The LXZ series dual rotor flowmeter (hereinafter referred to as the flowmeter) is currently the ideal generation of volumetric flow meters in China. It is a new type of volumetric flow meter designed and assembled with precision machining.

1、 Product Overview:

The LXZ series dual rotor flowmeter (hereinafter referred to as the flowmeter) is currently the ideal generation of volumetric flow meters in China. It is a new type of volumetric flow meter designed and assembled with precision machining. A pair of spiral rotors are moving bodies inside the measuring chamber, playing a role in dividing, measuring, transporting, and excreting the measured liquid. This model of flow meter has added positioning gears in its structure, so that the two rotors do not come into contact with each other during rotation. The flowmeter operates smoothly, has low noise, minimal wear, high accuracy, and strong viscosity adaptability. It can allow fine particles in the measured liquid to pass through, making it difficult to jam the meter. This flowmeter has undergone chemical nickel plating treatment, thus possessing anti-corrosion and wear-resistant properties, and can replace stainless steel flowmeters.

2、 Structural principle:

1. Principle:

The measurement of fluid flow rate by LXZ series dual rotor flowmeter is completed within the measuring chamber. A pair of spiral rotors rotate under the pressure of liquid, and the enclosed space formed between the rotor and the measuring chamber wall (shaded in the figure) is discharged with 8 times the shadow volume every time it rotates. Therefore, according to this relationship, as long as the number of rotations of the rotor is measured, the cumulative flow rate can be calculated, and the instantaneous flow rate can be measured based on the number of rotations per second.

2. Structure:

The dual rotor mainly consists of a shell, a pair of spiral rotors, a magnetic coupling, a reduction mechanism, an adjustment gear, a counter, and a communication device. The main body of the flow meter is divided into two types: single body and double body. The single body is the shell and the flow meter box are integrated; The dual body consists of a casing and a flow meter. The speed of the spiral rotor is transmitted to the meter counter through a reduction mechanism composed of a magnetic coupling and a series of gears. The magnetic coupling is mainly composed of active magnetic steel and driven magnetic steel. The use of a magnetic coupling can increase the working pressure and temperature of the flow meter, ensuring safe operation and convenient maintenance

3、 Application scenarios:

The LXZ series dual rotor flowmeter is a precision instrument used for measuring and controlling liquid flow in pipelines. Widely used in departments such as petroleum, chemical, metallurgy, power, transportation, ships, oil depots, docks, tank trucks, etc., it is particularly suitable for measuring industrial liquids such as crude oil, refined oil, and light hydrocarbons. The flow meter can be used for on-site indication, directly reading the word code and can be equipped with a transmitter, outputting electric pulse signals, and transmitting them to secondary instruments or computers for remote transmission, forming automatic control, automatic detection, and data processing systems.

6、 Installation requirements:

1. Environmental conditions: A place without corrosive fluids, with low mechanical vibration, low dust, and away from heat sources. For intelligent flow meters equipped with volume correction devices, there should also be a compliant environment.

2. Environmental temperature: generally not exceeding the range of -20 to+80 ℃.

3. Pipeline conditions: Before installing the flowmeter, the pipeline must be cleaned and purged to remove all debris, rust, and dirt. The connecting pipeline should generally be coaxial with the inlet and outlet of the flow meter, and there should be no protruding objects protruding from the pipe wall into the pipeline. Flowmeters should be installed without stress, fully considering the pipeline stress caused by operating temperature.

As a new type of volumetric flow meter, only by meeting its operating conditions and using it correctly according to requirements can its ideal cost-effectiveness be utilized and its service life be extended. Therefore, the following three issues need to be noted in selection and use.

1. Due to the use of a single shell structure, the high pressure is not higher than 2.0MPa, so high-pressure long-distance pipelines are not suitable for use.

2. When reusing in non continuous use situations, the air inside the measuring chamber must be completely discharged from the exhaust hole to prevent the generation of air pockets, which may lead to increased measurement errors and damage to graphite bearings.

3. The rotor clearance is not higher than 0.2 μ m, and the medium has a long stroke in the measuring chamber. The purity requirement for the measuring medium is higher than that of other volumetric flow meters. A stainless steel filter screen of not less than 40 mesh should be used and cleaned regularly. The rotor is made of cast iron material, and the moisture content of the medium should not exceed 5%, otherwise rust will occur and affect its use.
