The HG5 glass plate liquid level gauge is produced according to the original HG5-1364-1370-80 standard of the Ministry of Chemical Industry, and is suitable for directly indicating the liquid level of media in various towers, tanks, tanks, and other containers. Safety steel balls are installed inside the upper and lower valves of the instrument. When the glass is accidentally damaged, the steel balls can automatically close the liquid flow channel under the pressure inside the container to prevent the liquid level from continuing to flow out. There is a blocking hole screw at the valve end of the instrument, which can be used for sampling or for draining the remaining liquid in the instrument during maintenance. According to the principle of connectors, the actual height of the liquid level inside the container is directly displayed through transparent glass.

Structural Principles

The instrument is equipped with M27 × 1.5 or ZG3/4 "threaded joints on both the upper and lower valves, which are connected to the container through flanges to form a connector. The height of the liquid level in the container can be directly read through a glass plate.

matters needing attention

In order to ensure automatic sealing, the pressure of the medium inside the container should be greater than 0.2MPa. When opening the upper and lower valves, the valve stem should retract at least 4 times to prevent the steel ball from touching the top of the valve stem when sealing the door.

Glass material requirements

1. The liquid level gauge glass should have appropriate chemical and thermal stability, good mechanical strength, and low coefficient of expansion;

2. Color: The color of the glass panel should be colorless, transparent, or slightly light yellow or light green.
